UX Designer
Job Title: UX Designer

Job Role:
As part of Client's Experience Design Team, the UX Designer is responsible for creating and testing UX designs for all of our digital platforms. Working closely with the UX Manager, you will partner with the Product Development, Creative, and Business teams to ensure all designs support with customer needs, as well as omnichannel and brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the production and testing of UX design proposals and recommendations:
- Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with Digital Product Development, Insight and IT.
- Developing empathy maps, user scenarios and user journey maps.
- Producing wireframes to support feature development.
- Producing and testing prototypes across devices from low-fi to hi-fi prototypes.
- Producing coherent, well defined information structures.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
- Play a key role in the implementation of best UX practices and processes across the UX team
- Support business partners in achieving best practice customer experience.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships across key business areas including Digital Product Development, Creative, Marketing and Ecommerce
- Partner with the UX Manager to plan and lead internal workshops
- Support the UX manager in establishing UX research processes and ways of working within the overall development framework.
- Conduct user research on customer experience of Client's digital platforms.
- Planning and execution of design research.
- Collaborating with Insight team to identify and source suitable research participants.
- Synthesizing and communicating research findings.
- Executing Competitor analysis.
- Partner closely with the Brand team to ensure quality & consistency of UX throughout the omni-channel journey
- Keep abreast of competitor behaviour and market trends. Review competitor websites, social channels and industry news.
- Drive personal development and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in team and function
- Build off-price awareness in self and others by seeking out opportunities to learn from peers and partners in other functions
Must have skills:
- 2-4 Yrs experience in UX design and research.
- Experience in retail industry preferable
- Strong experience and understanding of Figma and Design Libraries
- Understanding of interaction design principles
- Experience of Agile web development processes
- Broad knowledge of user research methodologies and practices
- Business know-how: Understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences
