Senior Project Manager - POS Transformation (Contract)

We're supporting a global retail organisation on a large-scale Point of Sale (POS) modernisation programme and are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery across multiple European markets.

• Location: Fully remote (UK-based)

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact role driving the rollout of a next-generation POS platform (Oracle Xstore) across Europe. Several countries have already gone live, with multiple additional markets still to be delivered.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring successful execution of this complex, multi-country transformation, working across international teams and tight delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of POS transformation projects across multiple countries
• Own and drive project plans, timelines, and key milestones
• Manage risks, dependencies, and issues in a fast-paced environment
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across the UK, Europe, and North America
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders
• Ensure delivery against strict, non-negotiable deadlines

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering large-scale transformation programmes
• Strong ability to drive delivery, manage complexity, and lead under pressure
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working across global, matrix organisations
• Comfortable operating in Agile or hybrid delivery environments

Desirable:

• Experience with POS systems or retail technology
• Exposure to Oracle Xstore or similar POS platforms
• Experience with mobile POS (mPOS) implementations
• Understanding of retail/store operations
