What is the Role?

This role is within DIGITAL team. Our Renewables Business strives to be the largest and most efficient developer of onshore and offshore wind in the UK and Ireland as well as developing our effective hydro fleet. We drive new growth by identifying, developing, building and operating high quality assets in GB, Ireland and Internationally. This key role of IT/OT Service Delivery Analyst will support our Team and work closely with Renewables Business stakeholders to enable consistent and reliable operational IT service to our customers, underpinned by a continual service improvement cycle to ensure we deliver the best value IT service.

Responsibilities

As an IT Service Delivery Analyst, you will report to the IT Service Delivery Manager and assume the following core responsibilities:

  • Service Management - Perform in-depth analysis of operational IT Services to measure health and opportunities for improvement
  • Reporting - Prepare IT Service reports and communications towards strategic and operational stakeholders to articulate the health and impact of IT Services
  • Vulnerability Management - Manage the identification, assessment and tracking of vulnerabilities, ensuring timely remediation and clear risk reporting
  • Service Resilience - Maintain business continuity plans and support impact assessments to ensure services can operate during disruption
  • Disaster Recovery - Support the development, testing and assurance of disaster recovery capabilities to ensure critical services can be restored within agreed targets
  • Stakeholder Management - Develop and enhance stakeholder relationships by acting upon customer feedback and supporting the transformation of the IT Service Management function through the adoption of agile ways of working
  • Continuous Improvement - Provide input to and help co-ordinate continual service improvement initiatives that can demonstrate value
  • Escalations - Help manage and co-ordinate operational escalations (incidents, requests) through to their conclusion

Need to have:

Experience in the Energy/Utilities industry and Agile practices would provide a great advantage towards this role.

As a Service Delivery Analyst we're looking for the right enthusiastic and motivated candidate with a passion for customer satisfaction, to be able to act and prioritise independently as well as collaborate successfully with relevant peers.

To be considered for this role:

Experience from a similar service delivery management/support role utilising processes from the ITIL framework

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to enhance stakeholder management
  • Experience in working with Service Now as a primary ITSM platform
  • Experience in project delivery and service transition particularly in Agile ways of working
  • Cyber Security essentials
  • Risk Management
