We are looking for a data-driven and proactive Data Governace Analyst to join our team and play a key role in transforming how we manage, govern, and utilise property data across the organisation.

This is not just a data role - it's an opportunity to shape data governance practices, improve data quality at source, and drive better decision-making through high-quality insight and reporting.

You will work collaboratively across multiple service areas to ensure property data is accurate, accessible, and trusted, supporting strategic asset management and investment

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on data quality assurance, validation, cleansing, and ongoing maintenance of property data
  • Support and help embed a robust data governance framework, promoting accountability and best practice
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data capture at source and resolve data issues
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
  • Translate complex datasets into user-friendly visualisations that inform decision-making
  • Conduct regular data reviews, identify anomalies, and ensure consistency across systems
  • Contribute to the development of policies, standards, and processes for data management
  • Support reporting requirements for operational, strategic, and audit purposes
  • Build strong relationships across teams to improve data flows and service delivery

Key Skills & Experiences

  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, or performance management
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI, including data modelling and dashboard design
  • Experience working with data governance frameworks or data quality initiatives
  • Ability to improve data quality at source and influence how data is managed
  • Experience in housing, local government, or property services
  • Familiarity with tools such as Purview, SharePoint, or GIS
