The Role

If you enjoy leading complex programmes in fast‑moving, customer‑facing environments, this Programme Manager role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.

You'll take ownership of a large‑scale retail platform programme, aligning technology delivery with real‑world operations, trading cycles, and business priorities. This is a role where you'll operate at both a strategic and hands‑on level, driving outcomes, managing complexity, and ensuring delivery remains predictable and value‑focused.

You'll bring structure, clarity, and pace to a delivery landscape that spans multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and systems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading end‑to‑end delivery of a complex retail programme, ensuring alignment across technology, trading, and operations
• Defining and managing programme roadmaps, timelines, and priorities in line with business and seasonal demands
• Coordinating cross‑functional teams including retail, compliance, payments, and engineering
• Managing risks, dependencies, and resources across multiple delivery streams
• Reporting progress and key insights to senior stakeholders, ensuring clear visibility of delivery outcomes
• Driving improvements in delivery maturity, predictability, and flow‑based metrics
• Supporting both Agile and Waterfall delivery where required, ensuring the right approach is used for the context
• Leading teams and vendors, creating alignment, and maintaining momentum across the programme
  
  

What You Bring

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale programmes within retail or regulated, customer‑facing environments
• Strong understanding of retail operations, trading cycles, and compliance‑driven delivery
• Experience across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
• Ability to operate at senior stakeholder level while remaining hands‑on when needed
• A structured, outcome‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving capability
• Experience driving delivery performance through metrics and continuous improvement
