Role: Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer
Type: Contract - 3 Months
Location: Mainly Remote with some days expected in the London office
Rate: Competitive (Umbrella/PAYE)

Overview

We're hiring a Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer to support a major tenant consolidation programme, migrating multiple source tenants into a single greenfield environment.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end migration role, covering identity, messaging, collaboration, and endpoint management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, assessment, and migration planning across M365 workloads
• Deliver migrations across:
• Exchange Online & On-Prem
• Microsoft Teams
• SharePoint Online & OneDrive
• Active Directory & Entra ID
• Intune / Endpoint Management
• Execute migrations using Quest On Demand Migration (core requirement)
• Manage mailbox migrations, Teams transitions, and SharePoint data moves
• Define and execute cutover strategies, testing, and hypercare support
• Handle DNS changes (MX, Autodiscover, SPF, DKIM) and mail flow validation
• Produce documentation, runbooks, and migration reports

Essential Skills & Experience

• Recent, hands-on experience with Quest On Demand Migration (non-negotiable)
• Proven track record delivering M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations at scale
• Experience across:
• Exchange (Online & Hybrid)
• Active Directory & Entra ID
• Microsoft Teams (including voice/calling)
• SharePoint Online & OneDrive migrations
• Microsoft Intune (endpoint & mobile management)
• PowerShell skills across M365 modules
• Understanding of identity sync (Entra Connect / Hybrid environments)
