A global life sciences organisation is undertaking a significant digital transformation within its Crop Protection Regulatory function and is seeking a Automation & AI Analyst to support this journey.
This is a newly created, global role with a 50:50 focus across two strategic areas:
- A Data Driven Dossiers initiative, delivering automated, scalable solutions for compiling complex regulatory submission packages across 120+ countries.
- An Exploratory Innovation workstream, focused on advancing AI-driven automation ideas that reduce manual effort and improve productivity across regulatory workflows.
The role sits at the intersection of regulatory expertise, business analysis, and digital innovation, translating regional insights into practical, globally scalable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with regional regulatory teams globally to collect, document, and validate automation requirements
- Analyse regulatory workflows to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and high-impact automation opportunities
- Translate complex regional inputs into structured, prioritised, and actionable requirement sets
- Identify regulatory, technical, and process constraints, while highlighting opportunities for global standardisation
- Collaborate closely with global Regulatory Digital teams, regional Regulatory stakeholders, Product Safety, and IT
- Produce clear documentation, analysis summaries, and status updates to support global governance and decision-making
- Champion data-driven approaches, digital innovation, and continuous improvement within Regulatory
Candidate Profile
- Degree (BSc/BA or higher) in life sciences, agricultural science, regulatory affairs, IT, digital, data management, project management, or a related discipline
- 5+ years' experience in business analysis, process optimisation, or automation initiatives, ideally within life sciences or other regulated industries
- Experience working in global regulatory environments, analysing submission requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to align regional experts and global leads
- Experience translating business and regulatory needs into clear specifications for technology teams
- Good working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
