Watford - Tuesday & Wednesday in the office

Our client is looking for an experienced Product Owner (Contract) to support compliance‑led automation initiatives across the UK, EU and Australia. This role focuses on transforming highly manual, data‑heavy processes within a regulated environment, working closely with business stakeholders and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and shape automation initiatives, primarily RPA‑based
• Act as the bridge between non‑technical stakeholders and delivery teams
• Drive compliance‑focused projects across multiple regions and time zones
• Analyse processes for automation suitability and improvement
• Create clear user stories, documentation and delivery structure in ambiguous environments

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven Product Owner experience, ideally within risk, compliance or regulated environments
• Strong process analysis and automation experience (RPA exposure preferred)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently with incomplete or evolving requirements
• Hands‑on experience with Jira, Confluence, M365, Excel and process modelling tools
