My client is currently looking to recruit an Internal Communications Support Manager for Technology & Digital to join them on a contract basis. The Global Internal Communications Team leads the development and delivery of the company-wide internal communications strategy. The team plays a critical role in building colleague engagement, advocacy and organisational reputation, while supporting an agile and performance‑focused business.
As an Internal Communications Support Manager for Technology & Digital you'll support the delivery of internal communications and engagement initiatives for the Technology & Digital function as it advances its global strategy.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Support the Global Internal Communications Manager (Functions) in executing all aspects of the internal communications and engagement strategy for the Technology & Digital function.
- Deliver impactful, audience‑focused content and support stakeholder engagement and global campaigns to reinforce key messages across Technology & Digital and the wider organisation.
- Create a wide range of internal communications content, including articles, posts, intranet updates and engagement toolkits.
- Proactively manage the Technology & Digital communications calendar, working closely with the wider Internal Communications team and senior leadership offices to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities.
- Support Technology & Digital function and team events, ensuring they are engaging, well organised and aligned to strategic objectives.
- Own the Technology & Digital intranet hub pages, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, searchable and effectively archived.
- Curate and maintain the Technology & Digital essentials pack
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of Technology and Digital communications and campaigns to drive continuous improvement and deliver against agreed goal.
Essential skills and experience for the Internal Communications Support Manager for Technology & Digital:
- Proven experience in internal communications and engagement, ideally within a global, matrixed organisation (experience in CPG, healthcare or FMCG is desirable).
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment with changing priorities.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
- Sound judgement and the ability to operate effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting clear, engaging messaging.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills, producing visually compelling presentations aligned to brand and accessibility guidelines.
- Experience managing SharePoint and intranet platforms, including publishing, archiving and content lifecycle management.
- Hands‑on experience managing internal channels and intranets for global audiences.
- Confidence using data and analytics to evaluate impact and improve engagement.
- An interest in digital innovation and evolving technologies within a global healthcare or consumer context.
