Contract Opportunity: Senior Project Manager

Location: Reading (Onsite once per month)
Length of Contract: 3 Months
Day Rate: £600-£625 (Inside IR35)

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major ServiceNow Replatform project within a large enterprise technology environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards while working closely with technical teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, overseeing governance, RAID management, reporting, and alignment with wider portfolio objectives. You will work closely with PMO colleagues and programme leadership to maintain control of progress, risks, and change.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a ServiceNow Replatform project
• Manage scope, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Prepare clear reporting and updates for programme stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
• Maintain alignment with PMO processes and change control requirements
• Ensure project documentation and governance are consistently applied

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience in ServiceNow implementation or infrastructure programmes
• Strong background in technology project delivery
• Solid understanding of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders at multiple levels
• Proficient using project tools such as Excel, ADO, and Confluence
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers, and contractual deliverables

Desirable

• Familiarity with SAFe or scaled agile environments
• Understanding of energy or utilities sector environments
