Employee Benefits Business Analyst - Remote Working
Our client, a leading global Insurance Broker, are looking to hire an Employee Benefits Business Analyst to join the team on a contract basis. This role would be fully remote working.
As the ideal candidate, you will be an experienced Business Analyst to act as the strategic link between Employee Benefits (EB) business, data teams, technology partners, and solution providers. In this role you will play a pivotal part in shaping and scaling the new and rapidly expanding US Employee Benefits business, bringing a startup mindset and helping build processes, systems, and capabilities from the ground up. You will drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation across our EB services through the delivery of key technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops, interviews, and prototyping sessions to elicit, validate, and refine business requirements.
- Perform detailed analysis within the Employee Benefits domain for the US retail business, supporting the build‑out of new capabilities and operating models.
- Collaborate closely with technology providers to shape solutions that meet business needs and provide informed recommendations.
- Partner with multiple project delivery teams to drive system enhancements and technology changes across the EB landscape.
- Lead the prioritisation of requirements in alignment with clients, product owners, and the needs of a fast‑growing US business.
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for the Employee Benefits platform, promoting best practices and contributing to product roadmap development.
- Document future‑state processes aligned to the Target Operating Model, with a focus on designing scalable processes suitable for a business in rapid growth.
- Act as a key liaison between EB teams, system users, and delivery teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented.
- Support user readiness and change adoption by providing system guidance, training support, and responses to process‑related queries.
- Contribute to the culture of the new US business by identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, and helping shape a modern, technology‑enabled EB offering.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong domain expertise in the Employee Benefits business.
- Proven background in business analysis, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and process design.
- Experience delivering projects within large transformation programmes, ideally in an insurance broker or consultancy environment.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, resolve conflicting priorities, and drive alignment
