Automation Tester - Insurance

We are currently recruiting for an Automation Tester with strong Python experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Hybrid working - Inside IR35

• Automation engineer required to support multiple projects with the build of automated regression test packs for some of the high risks business processes.
• Assist with the maintenance of existing automated regression test packs.
• Create, execute and build upon regression testing packs to maintain integrity and quality of builds.
• Present proposals by way of high-level solutions to end users and/or stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experienced in Python and with advanced skills in UI automated test development.
• Must be familiar with the Behaviour-Driven Development Framework
• Good understanding of automation frameworks, including understanding of test automation design
• Strong object-oriented programming background
• Knowledge of using the PyCharm IDE (Integrated Development Environment)
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of SDLC process
• Knowledge on SQL skills in tuning/optimization of SQL and database optimization
• Intermediate to advanced skills in writing SQL
• Intermediate to advanced skills in API based automated test development
• Knowledge or experience of AI Testing tools or practices would be desirable but not essential.
