Hybrid Platform DevOps Engineer

Location: London

We're looking for a Hybrid Platform DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure across both cloud and on‑prem environments. You'll bridge traditional operations with modern cloud‑native engineering, helping to streamline deployments, automate workflows and improve system reliability.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, deploying and maintaining hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on‑prem)
• Building and managing automated CI/CD pipelines
• Implementing monitoring, alerting and logging for high availability
• Enforcing security, compliance and best‑practice configuration
• Developing Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform)
• Supporting development teams to optimise performance and reliability
• Participating in on‑call rotations and troubleshooting outages
• Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation

What we're looking for

Top skills (in order of importance):

1. Background in DevOps, SRE or Systems Administration
2. Experience across cloud platforms + on‑prem infrastructure
3. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)

Essential:

• Knowledge of containerisation/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD toolchains
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs and load balancers
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
