A new strategic initiative is underway, and additional capacity is needed within the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. We're looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer (SRE) to support major migration activity into an established AWS cloud environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, delivery-focused technical environment. You'll play a key part in accelerating cloud adoption, enabling smooth application migrations, and enhancing the reliability and maturity of the cloud platform.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting migration projects by working closely with project teams, application owners, and third‑party partners.
- Providing day‑to‑day assistance on AWS-related queries, including environment setup, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
- Carrying out platform-side actions such as firewall rule updates, configuration changes, and resolving issues surfaced during migration activity.
- Troubleshooting automation and pipeline processes, including Terraform, GitHub Actions, PowerShell or Python scripts.
- Ensuring the AWS landing zone, account structures, and core services support migration readiness.
- Offering best‑practice guidance for teams onboarding onto cloud platforms.
- Sharing updates, learnings, and outcomes with the wider Cloud and SRE teams to enhance visibility and platform improvement.
What You'll Bring
- Strong understanding of AWS from an infrastructure and platform engineering perspective.
- Experience supporting cloud workloads, ideally in a multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud environment.

- Ability to troubleshoot cloud connectivity, networking, and firewall‑related issues.
- Ability to read and work with automation/scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Good awareness of operational best practices, cloud governance, and the software development lifecycle.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineering teams, project teams, and technical stakeholders.
Why This Role?
- Be part of a significant digital transformation initiative.
- Influence and support critical cloud migration activities.
- Work across multiple cloud engineering disciplines and technologies.
- Join a collaborative team of engineers, architects, and strategists working on high‑impact cloud solutions.
