They will be looking for the successful candidate to working in Edinburgh Offices from time to time.

About the Role

As the Information Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the programme. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive support and advice to the Information Assurance Lead and the Product/Delivery Manager.
• Assuring that products and applications meet governance requirements and comply with relevant legislation and national standards.
• Liaising with product/delivery teams to ensure timely completion of assurance actions.
• Collaborating with various specialists to ensure the products meet compliance needs.
• Proactively implementing and embedding robust assurance processes across the organisation.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience working in the field of Information Assurance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities
• Strong understanding of data protection legislation and its application in a cloud computing environment
• Experience in drafting governance documentation, such as data protection impact assessments and data sharing agreements
