Business Analyst - Fund Operations & Change | Financial Services
We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in fund operations and change delivery within the asset management or fund administration space. This is a hands-on role in a structured project environment, ideal for someone who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder settings.
Experience with Part VII transfers is essential - all candidates without clear Part VII experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead workshops, define requirements, and produce high-quality documentation (process flows, specs, diagrams).
- Coordinate analysis and delivery across internal and external teams.
- Facilitate delivery meetings with 10+ stakeholders to drive progress and resolve issues.
- Prioritise and manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Experience:
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst in structured project delivery (not a data analyst or SME).
- Deep understanding of fund operations, collective investment vehicles (e.g. OEICs, ACS, UTs), and fund change processes.
- Experience with Life & Pensions, with-profits (WP) and unit-linked (UL) funds.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
Domain Knowledge:
- Asset transfers, Part VII transfers, inspecie transfers.
- Fund mapping, technical documentation, and operating model analysis.
- Exposure to third-party providers (TPAs, custodians, transfer agents).
- Familiarity with regulatory engagement and compliance.
