Location - Milton Keynes - OFFICE PRESENCE REQUIRED

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Non-Financial Risk Analyst to support the delivery of the new Provision 29 requirements under the 2024 Corporate Governance Code. This is a key role in enhancing our risk management framework, with a particular focus on identifying, assessing, and reporting on material controls across all risk types.

You'll work closely with the Senior Non-Financial Risk Programme Manager and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to design and implement new methodologies, systems, and reporting processes that align with regulatory expectations and internal governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to workstreams focused on identifying and assessing material controls across financial and non-financial risk types
  • Design, document, and gain approval for methodologies to build and maintain a centralised Material Control Inventory
  • Operationalise control identification and assessment processes, ensuring outputs are clearly documented and repeatable
  • Define system requirements for control and issue management repositories
  • Support the development and implementation of a structured issue management process, ensuring effective tracking, escalation, and resolution
  • Design and deliver reporting frameworks for senior committees and the Board, including dry-run reporting ahead of 2026
  • Develop training materials and support stakeholder engagement to embed new processes and systems
  • Ensure all methodologies and documentation meet internal model and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to provide updates, training, and guidance on the implementation of the Code

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in non-financial risk, internal controls, governance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across complex workstreams
  • Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Familiarity with risk systems, regulatory frameworks, and governance reporting
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and is quick to identify and act on opportunities for improvement

If the above aligns with your recent experience, please send on your CV!
