PMO Manager - Insurance Transformation
6 Month Contract
Remote - Once a month in the office
Our Retail client is looking for a PMO Manager to support a suite of high-profile insurance transformation initiatives. These include launching a new broker model for home and car insurance, transitioning pet insurance services to a new provider, and enhancing digital platforms to better serve a broad customer base.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work closely with Programme and Project Managers, Delivery Leads, and Transformation teams to shape and evolve delivery frameworks that ensure smooth execution across multiple workstreams.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests
- Supporting financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting
- Coordinating governance activities, including funding requests and leadership reporting
- Maintaining and updating project tools such as Planview
- Supporting business case assurance, closure papers, and stage gates
What You'll Deliver
- Weekly status reports and Planview submissions
- Budget tracking and forecasting using Oracle data
- Governance support including scheduling, agenda setting, and documentation
- Representation at leadership and portfolio review meetings
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a PMO Manager role
- Meticulous attention to detail in managing trackers, logs, and spreadsheets
- Strong understanding of financial tracking and project planning tools (e.g., Trello, Oracle, Planview, Google Suite)
- Self-starter with the ability to drive tasks to completion
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable navigating complex processes
- Insurance/Financial services experience is a bonus, but not essential
