Power BI Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Power BI Specialist to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contact.

Inside IR35

5 days a week onsite in Ipswich

Responsibilities:

Extensive experience of Power BI is essential

• Familiarity / skills across the full stack of Microsoft data tools (SSIS, SSRS, Azure SQL, SQL Server) required. Also VBA experience would be desirable
• Insurance knowledge desirable but not essential
• Design and deliver enterprise scalable integration solutions involving internal and third party systems
• Support, maintenance and enhancement of existing Power BI solutions
• Designs will ensure that solutions are modelled logically, consistently and intuitively, ensuring that they perform optimally within agreed tolerances.
• Peer review of code from development team members and third-party providers, with a focus on maintainability and performance.
• Ensure solutions are built to best practices and patterns for application development and integration.
• Working with DevOps and Service Managers to provide active management of the continuous integration/continuous deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
• Insurance/ Financial services experience
