Job Title: Solutions Architect

Duration - 6 months

Location: Glasgow ,Perth, Aberdeen.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to provide leadership, facilitation, and design expertise across multiple client projects. You'll be responsible for creating high-level solution models and architectures that align with business objectives and the enterprise's target architecture. Acting as the design authority, you will ensure projects adhere to architectural standards, guiding teams to deliver scalable and sustainable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level solution models and architectures in line with business requirements, standards, and target architectures.
• Act as design authority on projects, ensuring solutions align with architectural principles and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend optimal technical solutions.
• Assess and manage the impact of business changes on existing architectures.
• Support Enterprise Architecture in defining and maintaining the Target Architecture and Technical Reference Model.
• Develop and maintain solution blueprints, patterns, and best practices.
• Work with external suppliers and partners to align technology direction and ensure commercial value.
• Guide and mentor project teams, fostering innovation and high performance.
• Ensure all architecture decisions maximize business value and align with strategic goals.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on IT design and implementation experience.
• Exposure to multiple and diverse technologies across at least two of the following:
• Application development
• Network design
• Middleware
• Servers and storage
• Database management
• IT operations
• Strong understanding of SOA, object-oriented design, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable solution architectures.
• Solid understanding of data center, cloud, and network architectures.
