Brief description of the programme:
Our client, a major UK retailer are seeking a Customer Payments SME to deliver new capabilities and services which will modernise their payments technology and improve PCI compliance, security and resilience posture to enable scalable, secure, and shared payments capability.

Accountabilities:

  • Driving and owning delivery of the Programme
  • Providing effective support for the delivery teams as required, including driving timely resolution of escalated issues and blockers
  • Risk and issues identification and management
  • Dependency identification and management
    • Risk management of dependencies
    • Including technical dependencies
  • Stakeholder engagement across multiple work streams including articulation & promotion of Programme outcomes
  • Managing the Programme plan including holistic oversight of all delivery elements, governance, finances and communications

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Programme management experience of programmes involving detail technical areas.
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Strong communication - able to effectively engage and influence stakeholders across different levels of the Business
  • Able to get into the detail of complex matters where needed to drive understanding and resolution of issues and blockers
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Working with third parties - driving performance and delivery to target outcomes
