Technical Specialist
ServiceNow | Configuration Management
We're proud to be partnering with a well-established Building Society on an exciting opportunity for a Technical Specialist to join their growing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic role for someone looking to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll support the delivery of key configuration and software management processes, working closely with a team of experienced professionals.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and associated processes
- Managing software assets and configuration items within a ServiceNow environment
- Working closely with the senior specialist and wider team to drive best practices
- Supporting IT service management activities, including change management
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective configuration practices
- Constantly developing your skills and contributing to team success
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
- Solid understanding of Configuration Management and/or Software Asset Management
- A collaborative approach - enjoys working in a team and learning from others
- Service Management experience (e.g. Change, Incident, Problem) is beneficial
- Exposure to ITIL practices - certification is a plus, but not essential
- Experience in or understanding of financial services is advantageous
- Familiarity with working in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) or agile delivery environment
