One of the UKs top retailers are looking for a Programme Manager to join them on a 6 month contract.
They are looking for someone who can inspire and lead a strategic step change through a multi-year Supply Chain Transformation across technology, physical infrastructure, operational processes and people of circa £200m over 5 years.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure the Supply Chain transformation programme is fully docked into the wider Supply
- Chain value stream vision and aligned to strategic goals and ESG targets.
- Establish and set up the multi year programme, programme governance & delivery plan.
- Accountable for management and reporting of all costs and benefits.
- Accountable for creation and delivery of the end to end transformation plan, including
- business implementation.
- Accountable for ensuring business continuity and security while landing of the transformation.
- Ensure development of a successful and complete Business Transition approach (led by
- Change Lead).
- Accountable for the successful landing of inbound/outbound dependencies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional and cross-divisional peers identifying and
- managing dependencies.
Experience Required
Grocery Retailing, with a focus on distribution and logistics experience for all of the following:
- Delivering multi-year complex programmes, encompassing technology, business change & cultural challenges.
- Proven experience of leading physical distribution change and transformation.
- Significant resilience and ability to cut through / work in a complex environment.
- Managing multiple third parties and internal teams - technology, operational and consultancies (e.g. Visku & 3rd party logistics providers like GXO).
- Working at an Executive/Senior Team level.
- Experience working with matrix operating models and teams of sizes of 150+
- Management of budgets of £150m+
- Experience working in large businesses of turnover ranging from £5-12bn.
Desirable:
- Delivering change across all aspects of warehousing, transport and supply chain
- Oracle, Paragon, Blue Yonder, plus other technology platforms (in Grocery Supply Chain)
