Flutter Developer - Remote North West - 40-50k

I'm working with an inhouse Mobile Application team that are looking to hire a Junior / Mid Flutter Developer. Although mostly remote, ideally you will be based a commutable distance from Manchester to attend any meetings.

This s a great role which truly offers autonomy to work using bleeding edge technologies.

The salary has a range of 40-50k dependant on experience and interviews are to be arranged ASAP

Responsibilities

• Build and refactor Flutter features end-to-end (UI, state, data, tests).
• Consume REST endpoints via Dio and handle offline/slow-network scenarios.
• Implement and test data models (mobile) and help evaluate a web-friendly local store.
• Triage and fix issues reported through Sentry & QA.
• Participate in PR reviews and keep project documentation up to date.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 1 - 3 yrs professional Flutter/Dart (shipping to at least one store or production web).
• Strong grasp of state-management (Provider / Riverpod / Bloc) and Navigator 2.0.
• RESTful networking with Dio (interceptors, retry logic, logging) or similar.
• Local persistence with ObjectBox, Hive, Drift or similar.
• Writing unit, widget and/or integration tests.
• Day-to-day Git (feature branching, merge conflict resolution).
• Clear written & spoken English for async remote teamwork.

Desirable

• Push notifications: APNS and/or Firebase Cloud Messaging.
• Experience targeting Flutter Web (performance, PWA quirks).
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Codemagic or Fastlane.
• Familiarity with good coding standards.
