Overview:
We're working with a global financial services organisation looking for a Planning Analyst to join their high-performing finance team. This role plays a key part in supporting financial planning and forecasting across multiple regions and legal entities, contributing to strategic decision-making and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of financial planning and forecasting processes across multiple business units and regions.
- Develop core planning outputs and templates to support internal reporting and executive presentations.
- Collaborate with finance business partners and regional teams to ensure timely and accurate plan submissions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of planning tools and systems.
- Monitor planning timelines and ensure adherence to key milestones.
- Provide analysis and insights to support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.
- Help document planning assumptions and maintain a clear audit trail of key decisions and drivers.
- Champion data quality and integrity throughout the planning cycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.
What We're Looking For:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Experience in financial planning and analysis within the insurance sector.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to data interpretation and reporting.
- Able to handle large sets of data, model building and able to present effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functions and levels.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with planning/reporting tools (e.g. SAP, Anaplan, Power BI).
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and process integrity.
