Job Title: Finance Manager - Finance Transformation (FTOM)
Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days per week)
Salary: Up to £108,000
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (with potential for extension)

Overview:
We're working with a global insurance group seeking a Finance Manager to play a key role in delivering a major global Finance Target Operating Model (FTOM) rollout project. This 12-month fixed-term role will support the delivery of a new finance operating model, with a focus on technical accounting operations and process optimisation.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong leadership skills, London Market experience, and a passion for driving change in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that the process and controls will be able to delivery of the USGAAP monthly close process such that that is right first time and on time by:
- Project Delivery Oversight: Lead and support the execution of key workstreams within the finance transformation programme, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly close processes under US GAAP.
- Team Coordination: Oversee task execution and workload management across the team, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and alignment with project goals.
- Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate meetings, encourage cross-functional collaboration, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, identify risks or blockers, and report on key milestones and team performance.
- Process & Control Assurance: Ensure that financial processes and controls are robust, scalable, and aligned with regulatory and internal standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - essential.
- Experience in the London Market insurance or reinsurance sector - essential.
- Strong understanding of technical accounting operations and monthly close processes.
- Familiarity with SAP and Finance BI tools - preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive outcomes in a change environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and adaptability in a dynamic setting.
