A leading global professional services firm engaged Lorien to help rapidly scale its digital capabilities through a newly established regional Digital Delivery Centre. With ambitious growth targets and plans to deliver 60 new hires across Cloud, Cyber, Data, and Software roles within FY25, the client faced several key challenges:

Process Optimisation

To ensure both speed and quality of hire, Lorien introduced a structured recruitment process, including:

  • “Killer Questions” pre-screening: Rapidly filtering candidates to ensure only qualified applicants progressed to interview.
  • Fortnightly assessment centres: Streamlined interview stages, enabling multiple hires to be processed efficiently, with offers made on the same day where possible.
  • Structured interview format: Consistent two-stage interview process to maintain quality and fairness across all roles.
  • Direct sourcing model: Fully direct fulfilment approach leveraging Lorien’s sourcing specialists and STEM talent networks.

Collaboration and Communication

Transparent and proactive communication was central to the project’s success. Lorien facilitated:

  • Weekly progress and engagement calls with client hiring teams.
  • Real-time identification and resolution of sourcing gaps via Lorien’s broader delivery network.
  • Weekly dashboard reports summarising progress, risks, and key metrics.
  • Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) to inform strategic adjustments and hiring decisions.
  • Interview training for hiring teams to ensure consistency and positive candidate experiences.
  • Ongoing market insights including salary benchmarking to shape competitive offers.

We streamlined processes, delivering same day offers following assessment centres and face-to-face assessment days to foster greater engagement.
