Financial Planning & Analysis Manager - 4 months - £380 pd

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join a large public sector organisation during a significant period of change. As Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis Manager you will be responsible for the analysis and reporting of directorate monthly financial position and for providing an accurate monthly forecast annual out turn position for all budget areas to inform operational and strategic decision making. The post holder will work closely with Business Partners and the Accounting and Financial Governance team to drive the annual budgetary cycle.

Essential skills:

• Membership of a CCAB professional body (or equivalent).

• Experience of all aspects of management accounting, including planning, monitoring, analysis and reporting.
  Experience of capital accounting and preparation of accurate annual financial statements coupled with a strong technical knowledge of IFRS

• Detailed understanding of a financial accounting system

• Experience in a senior finance role within public sector providing effective professional advice.
