Lorien is currently recruiting for a HCM Test Defect Manager to join our client on a 6 month initial contract, inside IR35.

In this role, you will be part of my client's HCM programme, working as a HCM Test Defect Manager to own the defect management process throughout all test phases on the project.

In this role you will:
- Monitor and own the defect backlog and defect management process
- Ensure defects are raised and progressed according to the defect management process
- Ensure defects are appropriately assigned
- Ensure defects are kept up to date
- Ensure fixed defects are retested within agreed timeframes
- Report on defect backlogs, highlighting critical and blocking defects
- Raise Service Requests with Oracle where HCM issues are identified

In order to be successful, you will be:
- Understanding of Oracle SR process
- Experience with working on large IT programmes
- Understanding of testing and defect management processes
- Proactive approach
