Job Title: Financial Analyst

Summary

We have an exciting contract role for a finance professional to join a leading technology organization. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, data-focused setting and enjoys collaborating across teams to advance business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main financial partner for Sales and Post-Sales leadership, providing strategic input on workforce planning, incentive programs, and operational budgets.
  • Create and maintain robust financial models to project recurring revenue, customer value metrics, and retention patterns.
  • Lead deep-dive analyses on sales effectiveness, client retention, and post-sales performance-turning insights into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations, Customer Success Operations, and Accounting to ensure accurate reporting of revenue, commissions, and departmental expenses during close cycles.
  • Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities, presenting findings that shape decision-making.
  • Drive enhancements in reporting precision and streamline FP&A processes for greater efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate finance, ideally within fast-paced, analytics-driven environments.
  • Advanced expertise in financial modeling, planning, and handling large datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver insights that positively impact financial outcomes.
  • Familiarity with planning tools such as Adaptive Insights.
  • Understanding of accounting workflows tied to monthly and quarterly closes.
  • Strong communication skills to simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Experience in SaaS or financial technology sectors is highly desirable.
  • Background in partnering with go-to-market teams on forecasting, budgeting, or performance analysis is a plus.
  • A proactive approach and ability to identify process gaps and optimization opportunities is preferred.
