Field Performance Advisor (FPA)
Fresno/Bakersfield, CA (*candidate must reside in or nearby this market*)
Position Summary
The Field Performance Advisor (FPA) ensures Ericsson's suppliers deliver safe, high-quality, and efficient work across active sites. This role is field-focused-conducting site visits, reviewing build quality, correcting issues in real time, and helping suppliers improve their processes. The FPA analyzes performance data, provides direct feedback to suppliers, supports project teams with on-site needs, and shares best practices to drive consistent execution across the market.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years relevant industry or construction experience
- Strong understanding of telecom or general construction methods and order of operations
- Experience directing or managing GC suppliers; ability to review/estimate scopes (Civils, Ground, L&A, Backhaul, Maintenance)
- Knowledge of Ericsson and customer construction/quality standards or ability to quickly learn/enforce them
- Ability to work with customers, property owners, and internal teams
- Understanding of contracts and financial impacts on build performance
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and external partners
- Experience leading or influencing teams to improve performance
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations; OSHA 30 required
- Experience with Ericsson equipment portfolio is a plus
Daily Responsibilities
- Review site performance metrics (cycle time, COP FTR, JHA compliance, tool usage, build quality)
- Identify performance gaps and provide clear, actionable feedback to suppliers and the Territory Director
- Conduct on-site coaching, troubleshoot issues, and drive real-time corrective actions for safety and quality
- Plan daily/weekly site visits based on KPIs, supplier needs, and market priorities
- Support Construction Managers and PM teams with customer meets, site access, drawing validation, and on-site requests
- Recommend and help implement process improvements and tool enhancements with Automation/OPEX teams
- Collaborate with FPAs nationwide to address systemic issues and improve cross-market consistency
- Collect and report supplier performance data for deployment trials, tool updates, and process changes
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers and reinforce adherence to Ericsson and customer processes
- Provide feedback to improve SiteTracker and Power BI training and reporting accuracy
- Support QBRs with field findings, action tracking, and recommendations for performance improvement
