Principal Software Engineer (Backend)

You'll collaborate with a top-tier group of developers, creatives, planners, analysts, and business stakeholders in a dynamic setting focused on delivering exceptional user-facing systems.

In this senior-level technical role, you'll be responsible for shaping the long-term direction of foundational backend components and services.

You'll operate across multiple teams and functional areas to tackle complex engineering challenges, influence architectural decisions, and build scalable systems that support organizational expansion.

Your leadership will help evolve the structure, design, and development practices of core platforms that power a wide range of digital products.

Core Functions

• 15 + years of experience
• Define and guide the structural vision for systems that span multiple areas of the business.
• Elevate engineering standards and foster a culture of speed, quality, and innovation.
• Collaborate with senior technical peers to align architecture, promote reuse, and ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity.
• Engage hands-on with debugging, prototyping, reviewing code, and exploring new technical approaches.
• Champion modernization efforts and drive adoption of improved tooling and frameworks.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across time zones to align on priorities and execution.
• Support team development through mentorship and coaching.
