Phoenix area - remote
Max Pay: $45/hr
Contract Length - 1 year
Notes: Field focused and will be doing bid walks. He would like to see someone with prior Small Cell experience working larger venues like stadium/arenas/campuses.
Will need to be a good with managing general contractors and crews, along with meeting with venue owners
Will travel 3-4 days per month to UT, CO, NM regions. They are about to kick off a new project in UT and are wrapping one up in CO
Role:
Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Small Cell Network Design and Construction team including vendor management, monitoring project progress, and reviewing closeout packages and invoices for accuracy. Common activities will coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on time delivery of small cells in the right of way. Candidates for this position should have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a foundational understanding of how to design and construct small cells. This position is accountable for delivering key performance indicators related to small cell node deployment, including but not limited to percentage of on-time installations, successful delivery of constructed nodes, and delivery of nodes within budget. Supports Network Construction Implementation team with assigned tasks, projects and could include, but is not limited to, the following: correspondence, administrative tasks (PO's, CM Tickets & Invoicing), tracking project deliverables, dates and monitoring deadlines, regular interaction with vendors, providing regular and timely reports highlighting variances as they arise.
Responsibilities:
*Management of design and construction vendors.
*Review small cell construction A&E designs.
* Responsible for validating small cell construction BOM and placing small cell material orders.
*Gather material quotes from vendors and share with management.
* Prepares and submits purchase orders and change orders, and processes contractor invoices.
* Assists with project financials and milestone management, such as forecasting, issuing and receiving on vendor POs, invoicing on customer POs, tracking and resolving past due invoices.
* Provide additional administrative support as required.
* Communicates issues to management prior to reaching critical status.
* Develops progress reports, tracks progress and identifies/resolves obstacles.
* Assists with ad hoc reporting requests.
* Communicate with vendors on small cell construction
* Understanding service delivery and small cell requirements for close out packages.
Education/Certifications
* High School degree or equivalent
* A valid driver's license required
Experience/Minimum Requirements
* Minimum two (2) years of small cell/wireless construction experience
*Experience and understanding of small cell node designs
*Ability to read PIM/Sweep testing
