Small Cell Construction Project Manager

Small Cell PM
Location: Houston, TX - will be a hybrid position, initially requiring 3 days in office
Pay Rate: $45 hourly
*starts as a 12 month contract

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support Small Cell and network deployment initiatives. This role manages projects end‑to‑end, working with customers, internal engineering teams, and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer kick‑off calls and ongoing project status meetings
• Own project planning, execution, risk management, and delivery
• Coordinate internal engineering, operations, and cross‑functional teams
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to customers
• Manage vendors and ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
• Resolve issues proactively and escalate when appropriate

Required Experience

• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience managing large, complex projects (telecom preferred)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience managing multiple vendors and stakeholders

Preferred Skills

• OSP/ISP or telecom construction experience
• Understanding of Ethernet technologies and carrier install/test/turn‑up
• Strong customer‑facing communication and organizational skills

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
