Microsoft 365 Architect
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 specialist to play a key role in designing and delivering modern workplace solutions. This individual will be responsible for shaping technical direction, leading solution design, and supporting successful delivery across a range of Microsoft 365 capabilities, with a strong emphasis on collaboration platforms and automation tools.
This position requires both hands-on technical expertise and the ability to guide others, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
What You'll Do
Technical Leadership
- Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 initiatives, including SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Provide architectural direction and technical oversight across solution lifecycles.
- Support and mentor developers and engineers, encouraging best practices and continuous learning.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Design and implement end-to-end Microsoft 365 solutions that address functional and operational requirements.
- Partner with non-technical stakeholders to understand needs, translate them into technical approaches, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure solutions follow established standards for quality, security, and maintainability.
Issue Resolution & Risk Management
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues affecting solution delivery.
- Serve as a point of escalation for development challenges and platform limitations.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and performance concerns and work to mitigate them.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay current with new and emerging Microsoft 365 features and capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to optimize existing solutions and development processes.
- Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, usability, and overall business value.
Required Experience & Skills
- Deep, hands-on experience across Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, governance models, and security considerations.
- Development experience using technologies such as .NET, PowerShell, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technically, mentor others, and influence solution direction.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Industry-recognized certifications related to Microsoft 365 or Power Platform.
- Experience working with cloud services, including Azure.
- Knowledge of data structures, relational databases, and SQL.
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code development approaches.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
