Software Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead several cross-functional engineering teams, providing direction to technical leads and fostering cohesive collaboration.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end software development lifecycle across a portfolio of applications.
- Mentor software engineers and QA professionals, promoting accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with product, DevOps, infrastructure, and other stakeholder groups to coordinate priorities and resources.
- Uphold Agile methodologies, coding standards, and secure engineering practices.
- Guide architectural decisions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
- Track performance metrics including team throughput, delivery timelines, and product quality.
- Conduct or participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical troubleshooting.
- Contribute to requirements analysis, estimation, solution design, and iterative feature development.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 5+ years of experience leading multiple software development teams or concurrent engineering workstreams.
- Strong command of modern Microsoft-based development technologies (e.g., C#, .NET Core, SQL Server).
- Proficiency with cloud services and tooling, particularly within Azure environments (e.g., App Services, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native architectures).
- In-depth understanding of web application security principles and mitigation strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and DevOps-oriented workflows.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Strong balance of strategic thinking and practical technical engagement.
