Lead Consultant - Project Management Specialist

Location: Remote- Tyson, VA would be great
Job Summary
- Lead workshops, stakeholder sessions, and user story development to capture and prioritize business needs.
- Convert business requirements into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint items.
- Partner with development teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives as scrum master.
- Track project milestones, proactively manage risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation such as sprint backlogs, release plans, and burndown charts.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and collect stakeholder feedback to confirm system performance.
- Offer expertise in agile practices, scrum methodology, and ServiceNow capabilities to support team success.
- Promote a collaborative team culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Bridge communication between business units and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and goal alignment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven background in ServiceNow implementations as a business analyst.
- Solid grasp of ITIL frameworks and ServiceNow modules.
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and scrum leadership.
- Skilled in documenting business needs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Adept at conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement sessions.
- Strong ability to produce and manage project artifacts including sprint plans and release documentation.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow reporting and analytics tools.
- Minimum five years in a comparable role.
Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with eligibility for Department of Education 6C clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Scrum master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is preferred.
- ServiceNow system administrator certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in leading agile teams and managing scrum events.
- Flexible and responsive to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
