The Content Design team helps make Dropbox feel effortless. We're dedicated to scaling quality content so customers always have the right information to achieve their goals.

At Dropbox, content designers are relied on not only for simple, helpful, and human language, but also partnership in the design process. We always bring a user-focused point of view and give input on design that goes far beyond language.

Our team is made up of creatives with backgrounds in product design, food writing, teaching, and more. We love learning from one another and meet weekly for Content Design syncs and workshops to share work and give feedback. We're a close-knit, collaborative team that's passionate about craft and committed to lifting each other up.

Role Description

As a Senior Content Designer on Dash, you'll be at the forefront of shaping UX for the next generation of AI-powered products. You'll craft content strategy and UX writing that makes our AI products feel simple, helpful, and worthy of trust.

Your role will focus on content design for high-impact Growth areas, including onboarding and activation. You'll partner closely with product designers, PMs, engineers, and researchers to ensure content design meets business goals, user needs, and our high standards

Responsibilities:

- Drive content strategy and UX writing across key Growth experiences
- Bring your user-focused point of view to articulate and recommend design solutions
- Translate complex concepts into friendly, easy-to-understand experiences
- Craft content informed by user feedback, metrics, technical constraints, localization, and accessibility best practices
- Partner closely with product designers, engineers, product managers, researchers, and other stakeholders
- Align your work to business goals, user needs, and our style guides
- Contribute to workshops and critiques to push your craft and elevate the quality of our work

Required
- 7+ years of professional writing experience, including 5+ years focused on in-product content
- A knack for crafting end-to-end experiences and translating technical talk into people speak
- Experience following or creating writing style guidelines
- An ability to be both creative and consistent within a controlled vocabulary
- Proven ability to prioritize across multiple projects and stakeholders
- Experience partnering with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers
- A portfolio of content design (please include this with your application)

Preferred
- Experience working on 0→1 products
- Experience working on productivity tools and/or AI-products
