Qualifications

  • Proactive about safety; knowledge of OSHA regulations (OSHA 10/30 a plus)
  • 5+ years industrial field construction experience preferred (Industrial Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or related)
  • Working knowledge across Civil/Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical construction (incl. utilities)
  • Strong grasp of construction methods/technologies; able to interpret drawings & contracts
  • Familiarity with building codes and scheduling methods
  • Experience with cryogenics (liquid CO₂ production/storage) a plus


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with PM, PE, and Production to plan, direct, and deliver construction activities to spec, schedule, and budget
  • Oversee contractors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with contract documents
  • Develop/issue/maintain daily Hazardous Work Permits (HWP's) and daily reports (attendance, equipment, activities, site conditions)
  • Lead Daily Safety Briefings; coordinate site activities with Prime Contractor's Superintendent
  • Review contractor JHA's; verify operator qualifications and equipment inspection docs
  • Coordinate and oversee QA/QC inspections including NDE, pneumatic & hydrostatic testing, dye-penetrant, and radiography; maintain test/inspection records
  • Identify/mitigate construction issues; communicate solutions to PM
  • Conduct/document safety and quality inspections; ensure tools, equipment, and housekeeping standards are met
  • Maintain/update SoW and construction docs; develop relationships with contractors/vendors
  • Plan/schedule operations and acquire/manage materials & equipment to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate with Production on impactive site work; verify LO/TO and energy control procedures
  • Respond effectively to delays, emergencies, and disruptions
  • Conduct Pre-Start-Up inspections and maintain checklists
  • Report project status to Management
