Service Manager - UPS & Battery Systems
Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time

We're looking for a dynamic, hands-on Service Manager to lead field service operations supporting critical backup power systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, proven leadership ability, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supervise and coach a team of field technicians servicing commercial UPS systems, battery systems, and power distribution equipment across the Western U.S.
  • Manage scheduling, dispatching, field service execution, job costing, and post-service follow-up.
  • Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance during field activities.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex issues, scope changes, and emergency responses.
  • Work closely with Sales, Projects, and Purchasing to align job scope, support quoting, and ensure readiness before dispatch.
  • Track key metrics to assess technician productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.


What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in field service with UPS, DC battery systems, or electrical power equipment.
  • 2+ years of experience managing technical teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems (UPS, switchgear, inverters, etc.).
  • Effective communicator across field teams, customers, and leadership
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for audits, meetings, or on-site technician support
