Engineering Consultant

Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Multibody Dynamics Simulation Specialist specializing in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) simulation to perform multibody dynamics simulations in both agricultural and construction applications. You will be responsible for full-cycle simulation projects, from virtual model development to validation and correlation with physical testing. The ideal resource will have access to Simcenter 3D Motion software and a minimum of three years of expertise in CAE simulation within a manufacturing context.
Key Responsibilities
Virtual Simulation Model Development:
* Build and refine virtual models of physical vehicles using Simcenter 3D Motion.
Simulation Execution:
* Perform dynamic simulations to analyze and validate vehicle motion on pre-defined mission profiles.
Test Collaboration:
* Collaborate with test engineers to design test plans, select appropriate sensors, and determine sensor placement.
* Translate test procedures into corresponding simulation methodologies.
Correlation of Data:
* Correlate simulation results with physical test data to ensure model accuracy and reliability.
Project Management:
* Manage the full simulation project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
* Software Utilization:
* Maintain access and expertise in using Simcenter 3D Motion for simulation tasks.
Requirements
 Experience:
* A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in CAE simulations, particularly multibody dynamics with Simcenter 3D Motion.
* Background in manufacturing, with a preference for off-highway, agricultural, or construction machinery.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in Simcenter 3D Motion software for multibody dynamics simulation.
* Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and motion analysis.
 Collaboration:
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including test engineers and project managers.
 Communication:
* Excellent communication skills to present findings, explain simulation results, and participate in supplier interviews.
 Licensing:
* Must have access to a valid Simcenter 3D Motion license.
