About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in transportation engineering to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a mid- to senior-level engineer who thrives in a cooperative environment, excels at client communication, and brings precision to design and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Project Engineer and Project Management Team in developing project schedules and budgets.
- Interpret client needs and represent them in both design plans and field operations.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to improve project methods and maintain profitability.
- Develop and prepare engineering design plans (blueprints) and technical specifications.
- Ensure all project work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering, design, or construction.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of permitting procedures and administrative codes relevant to your discipline.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
