Software Engineer

Project Overview: Develop an AI platform for SPRiTEs GPT to streamline feedback writing and review processes for Dropbox employees and managers. This tool will integrate with our HC system, helping managers summarize impact and feedback from Workday data. It will also allow exploration of career frameworks, saving Dropbox over 1,000 hours annually and enhancing the performance review experience.

Responsibilities:

• AI/ML Development: Build a user-facing, LLM-powered enterprise product.
• Workday Integration: Authenticate and manage Workday connections.
• Data Sandbox: Create a sandbox index for user-specific information.
• UI/UX Improvement: Enhance user interface and experience.
• Tech Stack Recommendations: Advise on tech stack and integration choices.
• Front-End Development: Build and maintain React/TypeScript components.
• API Integration: Integrate front-end with Dropbox and Workday APIs.
• Data Visualization: Collaborate with backend engineers to visualize data.
• Design System Contribution: Improve design system and UI libraries.
• Agile Collaboration: Track bugs and enhancements using Asana or Jira.

Requirements:

• Back-End Experience: Proficient in Python and external APIs.
• Tech Stack: Python/Postgres with FastAPI, Dropbox Oath, Workday API, OpenAI API, Llama Index, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, RDS for PostgreSQL, React/TypeScript.
• Workday Integration: Familiarity with Workday or HR tech systems.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication.
• Agile Experience: Experience in agile environments and sprint rituals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ChatGPT API: Experience with ChatGPT API.
• Performance Feedback Tools: Contributions to performance feedback or comms tools.
• HRIS Data Models: Exposure to Workday APIs or enterprise workflow tools.
