Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Mobile QA Engineer to join our Technology team. In this position, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and executing automated testing strategies for our iOS and Android applications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our mobile products meet high-quality standards within an Agile framework.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mobile automation, hands-on expertise with Appium, and a dedication to delivering flawless and dependable mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain automated testing strategies for mobile applications (iOS and Android)
  • Design and execute automated end-to-end, functional, and regression tests to ensure superior mobile experiences
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, and QA teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications
  • Continuously optimize and expand mobile test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable rapid and reliable releases
  • Conduct performance testing for mobile applications and troubleshoot potential issues
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and report mobile application defects, ensuring timely resolution
  • Stay current with the latest mobile testing tools, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Ensure compliance with App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android) standards for app releases

Skills/Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on mobile application testing (iOS and Android)
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation, specifically for mobile applications using Appium, Selenium, or similar tools
  • Strong knowledge of Mobile Web and Native App Testing frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD integration, working with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and ability to validate API responses using automation
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools for mobile applications (e.g., JMeter, Firebase Performance Monitoring)
  • Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document test cases and defects clearly
