Network Validation Engineer (5G/LTE)

The Validation Engineer will support the integration, testing, and validation of private 4G/5G network solutions across RAN, core, network management, devices, and enterprise IT/OT environments.
This person will build and run end-to-end tests on private 5G networks, automate testing where possible, analyze network performance, and troubleshoot issues across the full solution.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G, including RAN and core network concepts
• Hands-on experience with network integration, system testing, or network validation
• Experience building and executing end-to-end network test scenarios
• Strong Python and/or shell scripting skills for test automation
• Experience developing or maintaining automated test cases or test suites
• Understanding of private network concepts including APN/DNN, QoS, segmentation, mobility, and device onboarding
• Experience with integration, regression, functional, performance, and scalability testing
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across RAN, core, devices, network management, and enterprise networks
• Strong IP networking fundamentals
• Experience analyzing logs, alarms, network metrics, and test results
• Experience validating network performance including latency, throughput, reliability, coverage, and scalability
• Ability to clearly document test results, technical issues, risks, and recommendations
