Senior QA Engineering Manager

• People Leadership: Hire, coach, and grow a team of 6-8 Quality Engineers based in Mexico; run 1:1s, performance management, and career development.
• Delivery Management: Own sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery commitments for the QE team's roadmap.
• Technical Direction: Partner with senior QEs on automation framework architecture and enablement tooling decisions; stay hands-on enough to review designs and unblock the team.
• AI: Very comfortable working with test frameworks driven by agentic AI.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Engineering Managers across Core Engineering and Strategic Engineering to embed quality standards and shift-left practices into their teams.
• Quality Advocacy: Champion automation as a primary quality signal; drive adoption of production smoke tests, contract testing, and developer-owned test coverage.
• Process & Standards: Help evolve QE processes - test management, CI/CD gating, reporting - as the team scales.
• Stakeholder Communication: Report on team health, delivery progress, and quality metrics to QE and engineering leadership.
