Project Manager (Cost Management) to support a national mission-critical project portfolio.
This individual will be primarily responsible for the financial management of assigned projects, including budget oversight, change management, cost forecasting, and profit projections. The role operates with limited supervision and requires collaboration across schedules, contracts, cost reports, and overall project status tracking.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in client-facing presentations and project pursuits
  • Monitor and track job costs throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and bid documents
  • Negotiate and award subcontracts
  • Prepare and maintain profit forecasts
  • Lead project close-out activities, including subcontractor and prime contract reconciliation


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial construction (mission-critical/data center experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
  • Experience managing complex budgets, including multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of cost control, estimating practices, and material pricing
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
