IT Asset Management Analyst (Contract Renewal Specialist)

This contractor will be looking at renewals and contracts for what we use currently (about 15 contact renewals per month). They will need to look at existing usage, along with new products, and compare with what Crown uses by assessing the functionality and costs. They should have 5-7 years of complete ITAM/SAM level experience.

The manager needs this worker to be an independent thinker and comfortable with presenting their recommendations to the team. They will need to be proactive w/ external company reach out. Job Summary

Crown Castle is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Contract Renewal Analyst to manage and evaluate software contract renewals. This role involves assessing current software usage, comparing new product offerings, and analyzing functionality and cost to support renewal decisions. The ideal candidate will be an independent thinker, comfortable presenting recommendations to internal teams and engaging with external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• - Review and manage approximately 15 software contract renewals per month.
• - Analyze existing software usage and assess alignment with business needs.
• - Evaluate new software products and compare functionality and cost with current solutions.
• - Develop and present renewal recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• - Proactively engage with external vendors to gather product and pricing information.
• - Ensure compliance with internal IT asset management policies and procedures.
• - Collaborate with procurement and IT teams to support contract negotiations and renewals.

Qualifications

• - Proven experience in software asset management, IT contract analysis, or IT asset management.
• - Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess software functionality and cost-effectiveness.
• - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• - Ability to work independently and make informed recommendations.
• - Experience with vendor management and external outreach.
• - Familiarity with ITAM, SAM, and software renewal processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Independent decision-making ability
