CAD Drafter / Designer
We are seeking a CAD Drafter / Designer to support structural and mechanical engineering projects by producing high-quality engineering drawings and technical documentation. Working closely with engineers, this role will create detailed drafting packages for structural steel and facility-related designs while ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and revise engineering drawings in Autodesk AutoCAD based on engineering direction, markups, and field notes.
• Create plan views, sections, details, layouts, and production-quality drawing packages.
• Prepare drawings for structural steel components, including members, welds, bolts, handrails, deck plate, supports, brackets, and related assemblies.
• Support facility and infrastructure projects by documenting existing conditions and design modifications.
• Incorporate limited mechanical design elements such as hinges, actuators, and equipment interfaces into drawing packages.
• Assist with drawing quality reviews, peer checks, and contractor drawing evaluations.
• Perform limited field verification of dimensions and existing conditions when required.
• Utilize Autodesk Inventor for select modeling and drafting tasks as needed.
• Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD with experience creating detailed engineering drawings.
• Experience supporting structural steel, industrial, manufacturing, facility, or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, markups, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, production-ready drawings.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
