We are seeking a Critical Facility Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure within a mission-critical data center environment.

This is ideal for candidates with a background in electrical, mechanical, or related technical fields who are eager to grow in data center operations. The technician will work hands-on with equipment, support preventative maintenance, and ensure safe and efficient operation of systems.

Equipment & Systems Support

  • Assist with operation and monitoring of critical infrastructure:
    • Electrical systems (UPS, switchgear, PDUs, generators)
    • Mechanical systems (HVAC, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, pumps)
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks
  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Work directly with tools and equipment in a live data center environment
  • Assist with installation, repair, and replacement of components
  • Support vendor and contractor activities on-site

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all safety procedures including:
    • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
    • Electrical safety standards
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Ensure adherence to company and regulatory compliance standards

Education OR Experience requirement:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Engineering Technology
    • Mathematics or related field
      OR
  • 1-4 years of hands-on experience in:
    • Electrical work
    • HVAC/mechanical systems
    • Industrial maintenance
    • Construction or facilities environments
  • Comfortable working hands-on with tools and equipment
  • Ability to work safely in electrical and construction environments
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Willingness to learn new systems and technologies
  • Ability to follow procedures and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • 24/7 facility requiring 12-hour shifts (days/nights/rotations)
  • Physically active role:
    • Walking, lifting, standing for extended periods
    • Working in hot/cold environments
  • May require working at heights or around energized equipment
